You don’t have to be gray to acquire wisdom, or have experience to learn a lesson. More often than not, we learn wisdom by listening to those who have had more experiences about life than ourselves. They can easily trace back an action from the past to a recent consequence.
Unfortunately, at this particular time, I was more into watching the sunrise than listening to what my Dad was saying. I heard him though, I just wasn’t listening.
However, he has been a pillar all my life with my mother and who I am right now, when I look in the mirror past what I see, I find contentment in the woman I have become.
Cherish your parents.
