So recently I got the chance to visit Helsinki, Finland for the first time. First impression as any other Europe destination was, I need me so me vitamin D sun but hey, a little break, a little change brings forth new experience away from monotonous routine.
It wasn’t my choice to have the stay just right at the heart of the city but I did love the surroundings and the nightlife city life. I never snow scatted in my life so this was something I had to try hahaha! Obviously I was not built for this as I hit the ground one or two times until I surrendered the lessons for later. It is definitely a new ‘to do’ on my bucket list.
Exploring the city was exciting and with so little time and a lot more to see, time management was paramount. With the help from locals, it became very easy to find my way with my friends to a couple of places that we considered touristic.

The hunger hit in 7 walking hours later. You can not be in Finland and not have a taste of some yummy reindeer haha, however there are consequences to this though. No Christmas gifts this year. Santa won’t like it finding one of his riders missing
Reindeer meat is tender and best eaten between medium and well done otherwise becomes too hard and chewy. Served with gravy and mashed potatoes, it’s a Finnish delicacy worth trying.
