Every 27th of December, my mom would take me and my siblings to mini amusement parks in Kenya, depending on which city we spent Christmas. We grew older, my parents and us living in different cities. However, we chose to maintain the tradition, 25 Christmas Day- 26 Boxing Day- 27 Family Fun Day.

Anyway, nowadays we find ourselves living much further apart in different continents and I’m lost in thought thinking in retrospect; Can we do it this year too despite the distance or I’m I too old for fun? Hell to the no I’m not!

I’m definitely gonna find myself surrounded by a different crowd in a foreign city, but tradition is tradition and fun is always around us for its not something that someone gives you; fun is actually something you give to yourself.
